107 Days of SummerWith bright, colorful flowers out on display, children playing outside until late into the evening, the distant sound of an ice-cream truck down the street, and the smell of fresh-cut grass, it can only mean one thing: SUMMER! That is right; this wonderful season is just around the corner. That means no school, barbecuing every night, hanging out with friends and family, planning summer holidays, ice-cream and Slurpee runs, and time spent outside in the sun (hopefully!). Summer is the highlight of the year, but after a few weeks, summer can turn from excitement and adventure to boredom and laziness. So how do you have the best summer ever rather than counting down the days until it is over? Simple! Just take a look at the 107 Days of Summer.

What are the 107 Days of Summer?

107 Days of Summer is put together by Tourism Abbotsford. It consists of 107 different fun-filled activities, events, and ideas to do each and every day of the summer; because let’s face it – you cannot sit around watching television for two months straight. This calendar of events runs from the end of May to the beginning of September.

Take a walk through a beautiful trail, explore mountains, find new areas to ride your bike, dine at a local favorite restaurant, visit a local market, watch the airshow, listen to live music, learn how to cook, jump out of a plane thousands of feet in the air… 107 Days of Summer offers something for everyone and anyone. With this calendar at your disposal, you will never have to ask yourself, “What am I going to do today?” Your summer of adventure, new experiences, fun, and excitement is awaiting you.
