Summer fun in the Fraser Valley: Rockin Riverfest
Any country music fans out there? You’ll be happy to know a little honky-tonk is coming to the Fraser Valley! For the fifth year (and biggest one year), Rockin River MusicFest is happening in Mission, BC on August 7, 8, and 9.
Held over three days, there’ll be three stages featuring more than 20 bands including Rascal Flatts, Terri Clark, Gord Bamford, the Road Hammers, and more! It’s a great line up!
A three-day general admission ticket is $200. (Which, when considering the musicians, isn’t that much more than what it costs to see them at Rogers Arena or the Abbotsford Centre.) Students (with a valid ID) receive a discounted price of $180, and kids under 12 get in for free. All the details you need to know are available on their website.
Summer is a great season to get outside and enjoy music. With so many festival options available, they aren’t always within reach due to location or cost or logistics.
