The coolest attraction in Aldergrove is Twilight Drive-In, Metro Vancouver’s only drive-in movie theatre, on 260 St and Fraser Highway.
It’s a hidden gem in Aldergrove that’s perfect for lazy summer evenings and bundling up on colder nights. It also makes for a fun way to see current movies from the comfort of whatever chair you choose to sit in.
The drive-in screen is twenty feet off the ground. It’s 40 feet high and 94 feet wide (Looking for one at an electronics store? It’d be a 1224” TV. Good luck fitting it into your car!)
Admission is reasonable, with child, senior and adult rates within $7.50 – $12.50 and varying on different nights. And the best part? You only pay once to see one or all of the movies showing in the evening. You aren’t obligated to stay for all the movies wither. You can leave whenever you’re ready!
Open now in Aldergrove, Twilight Drive-in will close around the end of November, opening again in mid-to-late February. These dates fluctuate depending on weather and attendance. Sun, rain, and snow – the movie plays no matter the weather. But if there are less than 5 people, the show may be cancelled.
You also don’t need to bring a car! Bring a lawn chair, some blankets and walk in. (Only tricky part is figuring out the sound – if it’s a sunny evening, it’s highly likely your neighbour will crank it up and keep their window open for you.)
Shorten your drive home after a late night movie by moving into our Cedar Landing development in Aldergrove, which is only 8 minutes away from the drive-in. (Perfect for when you decide to watch all the movies available in the evening.)
