June Market Update – Canada Day, Chillaxing, and Fireworks
We kicked off Canada day by handing out 10,000 pieces of Double Bubble Bubble Gum! What a fun time celebrating Canada’s birthday—the best country in the world! The weather was amazing, the parade floats were amazing—including the Eximus float—and the people lining the parade route were amazing. To see the team in action click here
Like me, many of you probably spent some, or part of the day, with family and friends chillaxing. If you managed to save any energy, you might have finished off the glorious day by watching fireworks somewhere in this great country. Summer is officially on!
The Vancouver and Fraser Valley markets are also officially on! With 6 months in the books, we have reason to celebrate, especially with Cloverdale and New Westminster being at the top of the STR numbers for the Valley and Vancouver region. Townhomes have also fared well as Langley and Port Coquitlam have topped the list, while the condo market is continuing to bring up the rear; I guess we could say the condo market is just chillaxing. Sounds like an opportunity to pick up a good buy—Cloverdale and Vancouver East are the strongest of the bunch.

Vancouver West, Port Moody 17%
As you can see from the list, the majority of the celebrating took place on the North side of the Fraser River. Take care and remember to enjoy the West Coast for all it is worth, and make sure you spend some quality time with family and friends.
