This is a great quote on how to live your life! Often we spend our precious time and energy pursuing too many things that don’t bring us fulfilment or results. Often our to-do lists are too long and lack focus. It is time to Eliminate the could do’s and conquer the should do’s.   Achievers work towards a clear sense of priority and push the non-priority things away. Gary Keller, author of “The One Thing” writes, high achievers have a knack for living the 80/20 rule: 20% effort equals 80% of the results. But they don’t stop there; they continue to break down the 80/20 rule again and again until they are left with only ONE THING – the most important thing on their to-do list – and then they pursue it until they have accomplished it without interruption. Yes, without interruption! No phone, no email, no text, no non-productive commitments, and no could do’s on their to-do list. Just that “One Thing” until they have completed it!

How many of you have had a goal to buy an investment property this year? Did you pull the trigger or is the goal still on your could do list? If it is, move it to the should do list today. Get started by going small. Make your goal so small that it is the only item on your to-do list; purchasing a cash-flowing property.  Get away from “being busy” and make it all about the “One Thing”. Put your investment team into action today and push all the distractions away, and most importantly, keep asking yourself what matters most until you are staring at the “One Thing”, your next cash-flowing property.

The STR numbers continue to show a balanced to sellers’ market in the detached single family homes throughout the Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley. Townhomes continue to show balanced STR numbers with a few areas pushing seller STR market numbers.
